Mission: To serve youth and their families by promoting the development of strong individuals and families in their community. This is accomplished through education, therapeutic approaches, advocacy, and the utilization of community resources.
Program: Parenting Classes
Objective: To provide interactive parenting classes, which address how parents can create more positive relationships with their children, by increasing effective communication, reducing anger, managing stress, and understanding child development.
Description: The classes are designed to improve the relationships between a parent and their children. The 10-week course topics include: Understanding our Children, Addressing Problematic Behavior, Adolescent Drug Use, The Out of Control Child, Anger Management, and Positive Parenting.
Program: Health Care Access
Objective: To provide continued health care coverage by re-certifying participants to health coverage programs.
Description: Certified Educators are available to provide information on Covered California Premium Assistance and with the re-certification for the Medi-Cal and Kaiser programs.
